Since 1981 the group has grown from a single machining workshop in Bhosari into two companies with plants in Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, covering everything from die casting to tested, ready-to-fit assemblies.

The group’s founding company. SGEW started in 1981 with aluminium components and bar & forged machined parts. It added an assembly and sub-assembly plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in 1991, and an HPDC & GDC foundry at Unit 2, Pimpri, in 2022.

The group’s aluminium high pressure die casting foundry in MIDC Pimpri, Pune. It joined the group in 2000 to bring die casting in-house, and today supplies powder-coated, machined castings and sub-assemblies.
